During our Advanced 1 course you master the basic skills of Dutch and expand your vocabulary. You start constructing longer sentences and using different tenses. You also learn the underlying grammar. In terms of your language proficiency, you progress from A1 to A2.
On completion of our Advanced 2 course you will be able to speak Dutch fluently and read long texts. Dutch grammar will have revealed virtually all of its secrets, and your language proficiency will have improved from A2 to B1. At this stage you can start thinking about sitting the NT2-I exam, which is taken at level B1.
If you want to progress from level B1 to B2, during our Advanced 3 course you will learn to conduct discussions at an advanced level and to write long texts on complex subjects. You may also decide to sit the NT2-II exam, which is taken at level B2. However, it is important to bear in mind that if you decide to sit one of the state language exams, you may have to learn things that you are not interested in.
You will have a basic workbook and there will be handouts during the lessons.
