NT2-I and NT2-II exams

People with more schooling who want to fulfil their obligation to integrate into Dutch society can sit the NT2-I exam - a state language exam taken at language proficiency level B1. This will enable you to apply for upper secondary vocational courses in the Netherlands, as long as you have completed sufficient preliminary education in your country of origin.
If you want to achieve a higher level of language proficiency, or if you want to study for a degree at an academic university or a university of professional education, you can sit the NT2-II exam. Of course you also have to meet the other entry requirements to be admitted to the course. The state exam simply confirms that you have achieved the required language proficiency level.
You will have a basic workbook and there will be handouts during the lessons.
